
Henry Ray Hall, 80, of Hawesville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 21, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lincoln County, KY to the late Henry M. and Elizabeth Lee Hall. Henry was a member of Hawesville Baptist Church and was retired from Willamette Industries. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, a gifted story teller, born teacher and cowboy at heart. Henry enjoyed working on his farm, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Henry was very active for many years in Hancock County organizations, serving as an officer in Hawesville Lion’s Club, Hancock County Farm Bureau director, Hancock County Cattleman’s Association, County Extension and 4-H leader, Union President at Willamette Industries and founding member of Hancock County Fish & Game Club.
Henry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kay Hall; son, Henry Kevin (Theresa) Hall; daughters, Kara (John) Morton and Kelly (Scott) Cumpston; grandchildren, Wade Hall, Samantha Hall, William Hall, Erika Morton, Shelby Cumpston, Dakota Cumpston and Whitley Cumpston; great grandson, Hardin Cumpston and sister, Sandra Dishon.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Hawesville Baptist Church with burial following in Serenity Hills. Henry’s family will be greeting friends on Friday from 3 pm until 7 pm at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel and on Saturday from 10 am until service time at Hawesville Baptist Church.
