BEAVER DAM – Fred Dwayne Stewart, 71, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Friday, August 23rd, 2024 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. He was born in Hartford, Kentucky on January 20th, 1953 to the late Roscoe and Loretta Wilson Stewart.
Fred was a truck driver and drove a bus for Butler County Schools for 20 years. He loved fishing and fox hunting.
In addition to his parents, Fred is preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister, Elza Stewart, G.R. Stewart, Lawrence Stewart, Jenny Perrin and Paul Stewart.
He is survived by his daughter, Bobbi Hicks; brothers, Lannie (Pam) Stewart and William (Patty) Stewart; sisters, Brenda Wallace and Kathy Graves; granddaughter, Cierra (Patrick) Decker; and great-grandchildren, Klayton, Kolson, Charlotte, Axel and Oaklynn.
Services will be at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky on Monday, August 26th, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow at Cane Run Cemetery in Horse Branch, Kentucky.
