Wilbur Franklin Brooks, 76, of Maceo died suddenly on Saturday August 31, 2024 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Wilbur was born on September 9, 1947 in Hancock County to late Wilson and Mary Rose Trumbo Sanders. He was a veteran of the US Navy, loved driving trucks, going to Hillbilly’s every Morning and traveling to the Boat. He was preceded in death by brother Paul Coyle.
Suvivors include three sons Jeff Brooks, Kevin Brooks and Scott Brooks; three grandchildren Jacey Brooks, Justin Brooks and Kaycee Brooks; his wife Norma Jean Brooks and many many friends.
Services are at 1:00 pm Wednesday September 4, 2024 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville Chapel with burial following in the Glover Cemetery.
