Patrick Henry Greer, 70, of Whitesville, passed away at his home on Monday, September 9, 2024, after a brief illness. Pat was born on July 13, 1954 to the late Cora Dean and Glover Greer. Pat was a lifelong farmer and an expert cattle and horseman. He was well loved by many friends and always let them know they were important to him. Pat was honest and had courage, integrity and a world of class. He will be sorely missed by many.
In addition to his parents, Pat is preceded in death by his brother Jerry and his uncle Dawson Greer.
Pat is survived by his wife and companion of 24 years, Lani Greer; brother, Cletus Greer; a son, Kurt Greer and a beloved aunt, Peg Woolen.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Cecil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Ralph Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, September 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to the time of service at Cecil Funeral Home om Whitesville, KY.
