Polly Ann Porter, 62, of Hartford, passed away September 19, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born May 16, 1962 in Daviess County to the late Paul William and Betty Jane May. Polly was an exceptional cook and enjoyed making big meals on the holidays to share with her family, who she loved and cared for deeply. She spent most of her time loving her grandbabies, feeding her hummingbirds, and watching old shows like Gunsmoke.
Polly was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Betty; brother, Robert Andrew May; and mother-in-law, Mildred Porter.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 41 years, Gary Porter; children, Robbie (Hannah) Porter and Leigh Ann Porter; siblings, Mary Jane (Bruce) Chisholm, John Paul (Kim) May, and Jimbo (Debbie) May; grandchildren, Korbyn, Colton, Huck, and Rex; sister-in-law, Sharon McKay; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.
