
Anna Myrl Loyd 83, of Enon, Ohio; formerly of Utica, Kentucky went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Kettering Main Hospital in Kettering, Ohio. Anna Myrl Coin was born on December 30, 1940 in Island, Kentucky to the late George and Anna Pearl Coin and was married to the late Ralph E. Loyd on June 14, 1958.
Anna was a proud homemaker who enjoyed quilting, hummingbird watching, and sharing her bounty with others. She was a member of the Owensboro Area Quilter’s Guild and adored the quality time with her friends. She was a longtime member of Panther Creek Baptist Church in Utica before moving to Ohio, where she found her place as a faithful member of the New Covenant Baptist Church in Enon. She loved spending time with her family, especially her four great-grandchildren who lit up her world.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ralph Loyd, who died October 11, 2023, as well as brothers Kenneth Coin and James Coin.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Loyd, MD (Bud Howell) of Royal Oak, Michigan and Harold Loyd (Linda) of Enon, Ohio; five grandchildren, Jonathan Loyd, Brad Loyd, Michael Loyd, Jennifer Sexten (Ryan), and Stephanie Snyder (Alex); four great-grandchildren; her sister, Bonnie Coin Thurman of Nebraska; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 30, 2024 at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Duke officiating. Burial will be in the Island Baptist Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Anna Myrl’s family from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Monday at Musters in Livermore.
