Willard Harold Greenwell, Sr., 85, of Owensboro, passed away on September 26, 2024. Willard was born September 13, 1939, in Owensboro, Ky. to the late Rufus T. Greenwell and Clemmie Sharp Greenwell. He retired as lead machine operator and foreman at Owensboro Riverport.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Lanham Greenwell who passed away in August 2017, and his brother, Clifford Greenwell.
Willard is survived by his sons, Willard H. Greenwell, Jr. (Brandi) and Ricky A. Rice; grandchildren, Harold F. Greenwell, Brandon L. Greenwell, Nathan Rice (Candice), Carl W. Rice, Jr. (Brenda), Ronnie Rice (Francis), and Amanda Newton (Clint).
Services will be at noon, Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory Visitation will be 10:00am until the time of service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Rosehill- Elmwood Cemetery.
