The City of Owensboro Public Works Department will be conducting asphalt maintenance at several Parks & Recreation facilities in the coming weeks. The areas being resurfaced will be temporarily closed for short periods.
The following locations are scheduled for maintenance (weather permitting):
- Chautauqua/Combest Pool Parking Lot: October 4
- Chautauqua Park Walking Trail: October 4
- Legion Park Walking Trail: October 3-4
- Hillcrest Golf Course Cart Path: October 8-10
- Greenbelt East Extension: October 10-11
Closures will be in effect only on the specified dates and will only impact the designated amenities being resurfaced.
