A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is continuing temporary ramp blockages on U.S. 60 this week to accommodate an ongoing resurfacing project. For the next 3-4 days, crews will pave on and off ramps at the KY 54 and KY 603 intersections with U.S. 60.
Each ramp will be temporarily closed for about three hours to facilitate paving, according to KYTC. Traffic should seek alternate routes during ramp closures.
According to a release, the work will be done in this order:
- Westbound off ramp to KY 603
- Westbound off ramp to KY 54
- Westbound off ramp from KY 603 to U.S. 60
- Eastbound off ramp to KY 54
- Eastbound on ramp from KY 54 to U.S. 60
- Eastbound KY 603 on ramp to U.S. 60.
