Robert “Bobby” E. Bullington, 73, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Daviess County. on June 18, 1951, to the late Edward Bullington and Elizabeth (Morris) Bullington.
Bobby retired from Titan Contracting Co. as a Steel Erection Foreman for more than 30 years. He enjoys spending time with family, playing cards, fishing, hunting, pulling pranks, dancing, walking, playing pool, and being in the sun. He was a selfless man with a big heart who was very giving to everyone.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Gary, Walter, Johnny, and Jimmy Bullington, and his sister, Shirley Cassady.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Linda Hester Bullington; daughters, Tina Haynes (Michael), Angela Maren (Rob), and Lisa Russell (Rob); grandchildren, Brandon Maren, Jessica Mason, Lexi Austill, Lindsey Ostria, Courtney Ostria, Michael Dakota Haynes, Kierstian Haynes, Alexis Haynes, Cordie Russell, Savannah Russell, Dustin Russell, Ashton Russell, and Carter Russell; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Billy Bullington, Eddie Bullington (Sharon), Margaret Johnson, and Theresa Rice.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, October 14, 2025, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home, with Deacon Matthew Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visitation, on Monday, October 14, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory.
