Norma Rae Butler, age 96 of Campbellsville, KY and formerly of Harned, KY passed away November 7, 2024, at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Harned, KY on May 20, 1928, daughter of the late Owen and Ruby LeGrand Robinson.
She was a member of Harned Methodist Church. Norma retired after 30 years as an executive director with the ASCS office.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Horace “Tint” Butler and siblings Owen Robinson, Jr., Joe Robinson and Ruth Nell Buck.
Norma is survived by her son Dwight Butler (Cindy) of Campbellsville, KY
4 grandchildren: Greg Butler (Christina) of Louisville, KY; Adrienne Gilbert (Steven) of Campbellsville, KY; Christina Smith (Trace) of Elkhorn, KY and Elizabeth Butler of Campbellsville, KY
3 great grandchildren: Bria and Lincoln Gilbert of Campbellsville, KY and Bear Smith of Elkhorn, KY
2 sisters: Nona Dean of Hardinsburg, KY and Sue Stiff of Louisville, KY
Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, KY on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 2 PM with burial in the Harned Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 AM on Sunday. All times are central.
