Bobby Ray Self, Jr., 69, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025 at ContinueCARE Hospital at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. He was born September 25, 1955 in Owensboro to the late Bobby R. Self Sr. and Josephine Trainor Self. Bobby was a retired electrician for IBEW Local 1701 and a former EMT at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was a 1974 graduate of Owensboro High School.
Bobby was a loving brother, uncle, great-uncle and friend, who loved his fur babies.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation is from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
