Mary Lou Henry, 83, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born January 3, 1942 in West Louisville, Kentucky to the late Elmo and Theresa Dant Thompson. Mary enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Danny Fuqua; second husband, James “Jim” Henry; and a daughter, Mary Yvette Fuqua Norris.
She is survived by three sons, Greg Fuqua, Danny Fuqua Jr., and Derek Fuqua; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; six siblings, Junior Thompson, Betty Bartley, Jim Thompson, Pat Kirk, Ronni Thompson, and Connie Clark; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Cecil Funeral Home. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
