
Dorothy Hill 94, of Livermore, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Riverside Care and Rehabilitation Center in Calhoun. Dorothy Mae Conrad was born June 19, 1930 in Daviess County, Kentucky to the late Walter and Mina Golden Hale Conrad and was married to Roy Preston Hill on June 26, 1947.
Dorothy earlier worked at the former McLean County General Hospital and later at the Dollar General Store both in Calhoun. She was a member of Old Buck Creek Baptist Church.
Dorothy was a volunteer at the Help Office in Livermore and was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball fan. She enjoyed caring for her flowers, raising her garden, canning her vegetables, and cooking.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Roy P. Hill, Sr., who died August 10, 1993; two sons, Donnie Hill and Dennis Hill; a grandson, Scott Bennett; a great-granddaughter, Amanda Hill; and a son-in-law, David Bennett.
Dorothy is survived by three sons, Roy Hill, Jr. (Pattie) of Rumsey, Leonard Hill (Teresa), and Jimmy Hill (Vicky) both of Calhoun; a daughter, Joyce Bennett of Owensboro; a daughter-in-law, Alice Hill of Calhoun; an adopted daughter, Debbie Daniels of Rumsey; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Wanda Mae Conrad of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, February 14, 2025 at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore. Friends may visit with Dorothy’s family from 11:30 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. Friday at Musters in Calhoun.
