Jack Hallie Moore, age 91 of Falls of Rough, KY passed away February 10, 2025, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Vincennes, IN on January 24, 1934, son of the late Hallie and Dosha Berry Moore. Jack was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Vermont American where he was a supervisor. Jack and his late wife Lena, settled in the Rough River Lake area after retirement and began attending Lone Star Church of Christ. He enjoyed lake life, being outdoors, fishing, keeping his yard immaculate and living his dream. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and quite the handyman.
He was the former President of Camp Wet-A-Line HOA and a lifetime member of the Optimist Club, having served as President of the Okolona Chapter. He enjoyed watching his sons learn and become active in many sports.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lena Fox Moore, daughter-in-law Jennifer Moore and siblings Anita Bush, Margie Remole and Martha Dempsey.
Jack is survived by 3 sons: Randy Moore (Kathy) and Ronnie Moore (Robin King) of Louisville, KY and Jimmy Moore (Kimberly) of Pansy, AL
11 grandchildren: Sheldon Moore (Miranda), Trevor Moore (Kelley), Chris Moore (Emily), Brandon Moore (Katie), Brittney Moore, Kaylee Moore, Marissa Patterson, Kyle Bailey (Jenny), Joshua Bailey, Leslie Jones (Chris) and Lori Moore
18 great grandchildren: Preslee, Colton, Michaela, Emma, Molly, Kaelyn, Remi, Clarabelle, Harper, Lainey, Carson, Weston, Victoria, Christopher, Wyatt, Aiden, Nora and Audrey
1 sister: Peggy Mathieu of Evansville, IN
A memorial service will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 12 PM with visitation beginning at 10 AM. All times are central.
