Linda D. Murphy

Linda D. Murphy, 54, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019. She was born in Owensboro on August 3, 1964 to the late Joseph Christopher “J.C.” Murphy and Francis Imogene Riney Murphy. She was a member of St. Alphonsus. She loved her Easter eggs.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by Barbara Jean Murphy and Frances Murphy.

Linda is survived Brothers: Stephen (Janice) Murphy, Martin (Charlotte) Murphy, Joe (Jeane) Murphy, Pat (Sheila) Murphy, Wally (Kim) Murphy, Harold (Tricia) Murphy, Mike (Tonya) Murphy, and Phil (Tammy) Murphy; Sisters: Bernadette and the late Mike Barnard, Joan (Andrew) Dant, and Imelda (Rick) Millay; a host of nieces and nephews.

Special thank you to her Active Day family as well as her caregivers, Casey, Doris, Pam, and Sally.

Service mass will be 10:00 am Monday, June 10, 2019 at St. Alphonsus. With Father Richard Powers to officiate. Burial to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, and again Monday from 8:00 am until the time of service at the church. Prayers will be at 6:30 pm Sunday.
