The Tamarack Elementary School Carnival is returning for its 62nd year from May 1-3, with Thursday night featuring $1 rides.
“The Tamarack Carnival is a special event because it brings people together in a joyful, vibrant atmosphere that celebrates fun, tradition, and community spirit,” said Tamarack Principal Carrie Munsey. “The Tamarack Carnival carries a lot of history that people look forward to year after year. It’s an event that creates lasting memories.”
The carnival will be held on the school grounds at 1733 Tamarack Road and will be open from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, 5-9 p.m. Friday, and 12-8 p.m. Saturday.
Thursday only, all rides will cost just $1 each. Bargain bracelets are available for $20 and allow unlimited rides for one of the following sessions: all day Friday, or Saturday from either 12-4 p.m. or 4-8 p.m. Tickets will also be sold Friday and Saturday at $1.50 each, 8 for $10, or 20 for $20.
Popular rides making a return this year include Ali Baba, Alien Invasion, Fire Ball, Gondola Wheel, Large Swings, Rock-O-Plane, Scrambler, and Wind Jammer. To see a full list of which rides will be available, including rules and height requirements, click here.
Tamarack’s Starlight Cafe Grill will offer hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, chocolate chip cookies, drinks, and popcorn throughout the weekend.
