Ronnie K. Alderson, 77, of Owensboro, passed away on April 28, 2025. He was born, on November 22, 1947, in Providence, KY, to the late Samuel Alderson and Earline Stockton.
Ronnie had a love for classic cars and was a collector, having had a keen eye for antiques and a passion for collecting guns. He enjoyed traveling with his family, always cherishing time spent on the road together. Ronnie enjoyed westerns and had a sharp sense of humor that brought laughter to those around him. Above all, he was a devoted family man whose presence, generosity, and laughter will be deeply missed.
Along with his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by his devoted wife, Julia Sparks Alderson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Sandy Horn (Bruce) and Ronald Alderson, his grandchildren, Cassie and Joey Horn, and his siblings, Sam, Jackie, Lonnie, and Randy Alderson.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Nickel Ridge Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visitation, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory, on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
