Kevin Allen Pears, 62, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born December 15, 1962 in Warren County, Kentucky to the late Howard and Elsie Eadens Pears. Kevin worked at Hunter Douglas and was an artist. He was a U.S. Army veteran and attended Woodwards Valley Baptist Church. Kevin loved painting, genealogy, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Donna Johnson Pears; two daughters, Alissa Pears and Chloe Pears; son, Korey Pears; brother, Marty Pears (Pam); sister, Freida Turner (David); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery with military honors. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
