
Emmett Ronald “Ronnie” Tabor, 82, passed away on April 30, 2025 at his residence in Hardinsburg, KY. He was born in Harned, KY on September 18, 1942 to the late Homer and Frances Basham Tabor. Ronnie was a member of Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He farmed most of his life raising tobacco as well as being an equipment operator for White Stone Company. Ronnie loved being outdoors, working on the farm and being with his nephews. He enjoyed watching UK basketball, watching the birds outside in the feeder, tending his roses as well as joking and pranking others. Ronnie has a few favorite sayings, “Always dress in layers. If you have it on you can take it off but if you don’t have it you can’t put it on”, “If you lost something it will always be in the last place you look”. His beloved dogs, Perky and Snooki were very special to him.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his siblings: Lloyd, Erma, Earl and Carl Tabor , Hazel Ford and Brenda Tabor as well as a granddaughter, Jessica Henning.
He is survived by his daughters: Tonia Henning (Richie) of Hardinsburg; Tammy Burnette (Shorty) of Westview; Stacy Greenwood (Sean) of Payneville
Grandchildren: Brandon Burnette (Michelle), Barbara Jean Davenport (Adam), Taylor Denham (Khaleb), Ryan Bennett, Rachael Bennett
Great-Grandchildren: Landon, Aidan, Logan, Kyler Burnette
By honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen by the family.
