Mossie Marie Wells, 65, of Drakesboro, KY died on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. She was born in Greenville on October 19, 1959, the daughter of John Henry Wells and Virdie Marie Mayes Wells. She was a caregiver to family members for many years and she loved caring for her grandsons. She enjoyed the outdoors and she was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Johnny Junior Wells, and four sisters Louise Paige, Josephine Hope, Ruby Jean Wells, and Katherine Juanita Wells
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 13 at 1:00 PM at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, officiated by Dr. Kevin Milburn. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
She is survived by two nieces, Krystal (Michael Music) Geary of Drakesboro, KY, Jennifer Lynn Wells of Central City, KY; seven grandchildren, Jaden Pepper, Jaycob Pepper, Nevaeh Geary, Jase Foster, Jaxtin Foster, Josiah Fulkerson, Javian Music; one sister, Linda Wells Boggess of Bremen, KY.
Friends may call after 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 13 at Gary’s Funeral Home until time of service at 1:00 PM.
