Rebecca Taylor Brooks, 30, of Newburgh, Indiana passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born on March 25, 1995 in Evansville, Indiana to Clarence Brooks and Stephanie Wallace. Rebecca enjoyed hunting with her father. She had a great love for nature, bees, geology, hiking, and collecting rocks.
She is survived by her father, Clarence Brooks (Trina); mother, Stephanie Wallace; children, Lawrence “Will” Hatfield, Iris Nell Alsup, and Ambrose Thrain Alsup; siblings, Lydia Chapman and family, Lucia Solorzano, Manuel Solorzano and family, and Samantha Brooks and family; and grandparents, aunt, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
