Ashley Dawn Laws’ story began on June 6, 1987 and ended too soon on May 19, 2025. She was born in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Richard and Regina Laws. Ashley was a beautiful, free-spirited soul that loved with her whole heart. She saw the good in everyone and would be there for anyone in need. Our family could never thank her enough for the many years she was a caretaker to her parents. She would never want to be defined and remembered by her personal struggles but as someone who deeply loved her four children and her parents. Her sweet and kind soul is finally at peace.
Ashley was preceded in death by her loving parents, Richard “Ricky” Laws and Regina “Genie” Laws.
She is survived by her greatest joy her children, Isaiah Scott Kinman, Asiah Gail Laws Kinman, Elijah Dean Gray and Brik Elwyn Gray; sisters, Tisha Hoffman (Kurt) and Melissa Hoffman (Brad); and nieces and nephew, Karlee and Gracie Hoffman and Lincoln Hoffman.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Christ Community Church. Visitation is from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the church. James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
