George Bryan Bozarth, 59, of Lewisport, passed away after a courageous 16 year battle with liver disease on May 20, 2025 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born on May 30, 1965 in Owensboro, KY to Charles and Marita Holder Bozarth. George was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church and was a retired Lineman for Kenergy Cooperation after 34 years of service. He loved his family, big cookouts, spending time at his lake and enjoyed working his farm. George was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bozarth, SR and his mother and father-in-law, Linda and Charles Winchell.
George is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna Winchell Bozarth; daughter, Mollie (Jeremy) Payne; son, Jordan (Misty) Bozarth; mother, Marita Bozarth; grandchildren, Trenton Doyle, Ezekiel Payne, Xavier Payne, Bristol Payne and coming in September, George Randall Payne; brother, Chuck (Stacy) Bozarth; sisters, Annamaria Poteat and Lisa Brown along with several nieces, nephews, brother in laws and sister in laws.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at St. Columba Catholic Church with burial following in Serenity Hills. George’s family will be greeting friends on Friday from 3 pm until 7 pm and on Saturday from 8 am until 10 am at St. Columba Catholic Church.
