James Franklin Allen, Jr., 59, of Owensboro died June 10, 2019. He was born on November 14, 1959 in Mobile, Alabama to the late James and Elizabeth Allen. Jimmy attended Living Hope Church and volunteered at St. Benedict’s Men’s Shelter. His friends and neighbors always knew he was willing to help anyone in need.
Survivors include his children, Samantha Allen and Kyle Allen; brother, John (Teresa) Allen; sister, Donna (Lynn) Mayhew; one grandchild, Ryder; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Living Hope Church, 1709 Alexander Avenue, Owensboro, KY 42303. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. on Monday at the church. James H. Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
