Maverick Young, a 1st grade student at Highlands Latin School Owensboro, was recently awarded the 2025 Grand National winner for the New American Cursive Handwriting contest for 1st and 2nd Grade Students. The New American Cursive Handwriting Contest is open to students in grades K-12 across the United States. Entries consist of short passages and are judged on neatness, consistency and overall presentation. Congratulations Maverick!
