Charles Edwin Cobb, 91, formerly of 2515 Baylor Place, Owensboro, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Cedarhurst Senior Living in Owensboro. He was born October 30, 1933 in Owensboro to the late Rollin C. Cobb and Loraine Shank Cobb. Charles graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College and was a member of Third Baptist Church. He started his career at Kresge’s Department Store in Detroit, Michigan and retired from K-Mart. Charles enjoyed investing in stocks and had a love for cars, especially his 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible. He loved animals and dogs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Cobb.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory officiated by Rev. Ron Williams and Rev. Derek Cain. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
