William “Bill” A. Little of Owensboro started his journey to heaven Friday afternoon, June 21st, from the cardiac critical care unit of Vanderbilt University Hospital.
Bill retired after thirty years of teaching at Owensboro High School. His passion was buying and selling antiques and raising orchids.
Bill loved nearly everyone and nearly everyone loved Bill. His instructions were that there will be no services. Haley McGinnis is reverently in charge of cremation.
He is survived by his brother, John R. Little of Owensboro, and his stepfather, Melvin Simmons, of Richmond, VA.
Per Bill’s wishes, in three or four months, a party will take place, celebrating his life, for all his friends to eat and be happy.
