Thomas Franklin Kamuf

Thomas Franklin Kamuf, 82, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 under the care of the Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born in Owensboro on January 24, 1937 to the late Eugene and Cora Westerfield Kamuf. Thomas was employed at Tom Kamuf Service Company. He enjoyed antique tractors, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his son, Tony Kamuf, his sister, Betty Jo (AJ) Kalin.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sarah Hageman Kamuf, his children, Steven (Shelley) Kamuf, Kimberly (Greg) Woodall, Tonya (Mike) Murphy, Todd Kamuf; his grandchildren, Carroll Dean, Anthony Kamuf, Jennifer Shelton, Christopher Kamuf, Danielle Fulkerson, Carlon Phelps, Cassie Strong, Johnathan Woodall, Kyle Woodall, Brittany De La Fuente, Kelsi Woodall, Megan Woodall, Coy Murphy, Kaylee Kuhlman, Nick Murphy; his siblings, Margie Merimee (the late, Joe Bill), Donald (Betty), Jim (Martha), Dan (the late, Charlotte) Larry (Donna); and his sister-in-law, Elizabeth (the late, William E. “Bub”).

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm Saturday, with rosary being said at 6:00 pm, and again Sunday from 10:30 am until time of service at the funeral home. Services will be 1:00 pm Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Haley McGinns Funeral Home & Crematory, with Father Richard Powers officiating. Burial will follow on Monday at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.
