Owensboro Health has named Christy Maraone as its new Vice President of Marketing & Communications. Maraone, who brings more than two decades of executive-level experience to the role, including 10 years in healthcare marketing for major national systems.
Maraone will oversee all aspects of marketing for the OH system, from brand management and communications to media relations, digital strategy, and social media. She will focus on strategies to strengthen Owensboro Health’s regional brand, consumer trust, and market share.

Most recently, Maraone served as marketing lead for HCA Healthcare’s Gulf Coast Division in Houston — the company’s second-largest division — overseeing 19 hospitals, 33 free-standing emergency centers, 23 urgent care centers, 13 ambulatory surgery centers, and 90 physician practices. Her career also includes executive marketing roles at Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America, Vascular Institute of the Rockies, HCA Healthcare Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center, and CommonSpirit Health St. Anthony North Health Campus.
