
Eldon Ray Robertson, 86, of Owensboro, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 29, 2025 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born March 5, 1939 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Lester and Leah Montgomery Robertson. Eldon retired from Century Aluminum and was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. Eldon never met a stranger and would go out of his way to help anyone. He was well loved by everyone he met. Eldon was a faithful servant of Christ who prayed over and brought many others to the Lord. He was devoted to his family, especially his wife of 63 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Ruby Robertson.
He is survived by three sons, Barron Robertson (Susan), Tracy Robertson, and Jason Robertson (Heather); daughter, Brenda Tudor (Kevin); 10 grandchildren, Andrea Robertson, Aaron Robertson (Kaitlin), Corey Robertson, Daniel Robertson (Elizabeth), Cami Robertson, Justin Tudor (Kendra), Samantha Tudor, Kaitlyn Tudor, Sydney Halcomb (Jeremy), and Taylor Mullins (C.J.); 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Don Robertson; sister, Crystal Faith; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
