Janet Harrison, 77, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born February 27, 1948 in Daviess County to the late Raymond and Beulah Pinkston Texas. Janet enjoyed gardening, quilting, painting, canning, and reading. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Harrison; son, John Wendell Harrison; brothers, William John Texas, Joseph Raymond Texas, and Raymond Joseph Texas; and sisters, Sandra Rose Embry, Jane Frazier, and Victoria Texas.
She is survived by sons, Steven Harrison (Jennifer), Jacob L. Boling, and Chris A. Boling; daughters, Debbie L. Stallings (and the late Francis), Tammy McDonald (Keith), and Beulah “Sissy” Boling; 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchild; and a brother, James Alphnous Texas; sister, Mary Michael Baxter; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family visitation will be held.
