John William Patton, Jr., 60, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at his home. He was born November 26, 1964 in Owensboro to the late John William “Buck” Patton and Clara Marie Payne Patton. John retired from Leisure Years Nursing Home. He enjoyed watching TV, cold beer, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his siblings, Anna Wathen, Tom Patton (Darlene), Judy Patton, and Sheila Sparks; several nieces and nephews; and longtime friends, Keith Menzies (Donya) and family.
Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Precious Blood Catholic Church. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. A private burial will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
