EM Ford has been recognized as a 2025 Best Practices Agency by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) and Reagan Consulting.
The designation places the Owensboro-based company among the top 1% of independent insurance agencies nationwide, according to a release from the agency.
The honor is part of the Best Practices Study, which analyzes the business practices of high-performing agencies across the country. This year, 1,146 agencies were nominated, and 348 qualified for the designation.
“We’re honored to be recognized as a 2025 Big ‘I’ Best Practices Agency, a distinction awarded to only 348 agencies out of 39,000 nationwide,” said Clay Ford, partner at EM Ford. “This recognition was made possible by the dedication and expertise of our team, and the trust of our clients and carrier partners.”
The Best Practices designation is awarded every three years through a detailed nomination and qualifying process. Agencies must rank among the top performers in their revenue category and submit financial and operational data annually to retain the distinction.
Founded in 1925, EM Ford offers commercial insurance, employee benefits, personal insurance, and financial planning services. The agency represents several major companies including SafeCo, Cincinnati, Westfield, Travelers, Progressive, Anthem, and UnitedHealthcare.
