Bobby Allen Dooley, 66, of Owensboro, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 4, 2025. He was born March 22, 1959 in Hardinsburg to the late Charles L. Dooley and Mary Frances Stinnett Dooley. Bob lived most of his younger years in Louisville. He was a member of Owensboro Christian Church and loved serving as a teacher in the children’s department in earlier years. Bob started delivering papers in Louisville at the age of 13, and had various construction and production jobs all over the country before retiring as a driver for the Owensboro Transit System. He never met a stranger and if you met him, you wouldn’t forget him. Bob’s passion was for the UK Wildcats and his family was his greatest joy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife’s son, Andy Thompson; and two sisters, Marylou Dooley and Carla Fritz.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Donna Brown Dooley; daughter, Lori Wyatt (Kyle Gallagher); grandsons, Jackson and Blake Wyatt; brother, Gary Dooley (Denise); and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
