The Owensboro Convention Center is hosting the 8th annual Breakfast with Santa on December 20, complete with photo opportunities, gifts, letter-writing stations, and more.
The event will feature pancakes with toppings, sausage, and a choice of juice or coffee. Children can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus for a free photo opportunity, and each child will receive a small gift. Holiday activity stations will include letter-writing to Santa and Christmas-themed coloring.
WBKR will also be on site collecting donations for Christmas Wish. Attendees are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys or make a cash donation. The program has provided gifts for children in the tri-state area since 1976, including more than 8,000 last year.
“It’s hard to believe that it’s that time of the year already for Santa to make his stop at the German American Bank Ballroom,” said Tony Krampe, Market President – Owensboro Market, German American Bank. “We are proud to sponsor this fun and festive event again for our local families.”
Jeff Esposito, general manager of the Convention Center, said the morning has become a favorite for many families.
“Breakfast with Santa is one of those events that truly captures the spirit of the season,” Esposito said. “Seeing families laugh, kids light up when they meet Santa, and neighbors come together makes it a special morning for everyone.”
Tickets are $12 in advance or $14 at the door. Children 2 and under are admitted free but must have a ticket. A family four-pack is available for $40 in advance. Tickets can be purchased at OwensboroTickets.com or at the Convention Center box office.
