Dale Cephas Wedding, 73, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025. He was born June 20, 1952 in Daviess County to the late Cephas and Margaret Holmes Wedding. Dale was part-owner and manager of West Side Auto Parts. He loved spending time with his family and camping.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Jimmy Wedding, Denny Wedding, Roy Wedding, Ernest Wedding, Tommy Wedding, and Shirley Clark.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Wedding; son, Jeff Wedding; daughter, Holly Ebelhar (Matt); five grandchildren, Jamon (Karissa), Kelsey (Logan), C.J. (John), Katie (Cody), and Dossin; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Wedding, Buddy Wedding, and Avery Wedding; sister, Mary Rose McPherson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025 at James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Nickel Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday and from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
