City crews began assembling the Smothers Park Christmas Tree on Tuesday. The lighting ceremony is set for 5 p.m. on November 21, featuring Christmas carols from the Kentucky Youth Chorale, a preview of Owensboro Dance Theatre’s “Nutcracker,” and the start of the nightly “Dancing Lights” show downtown.
