Transportation Options
- Wednesday-Friday*: Owensboro Transit System will provide free bus transportation to the Daniel Pitino Shelter from 4-6 p.m. on White Flag nights.
- Note: Inform the driver you are going to the White Flag shelter.
- *No bus transportation available on Thursday. Contact the shelter at 270-688-9000 for other options.
- Saturday-Sunday: Contact the Daniel Pitino Shelter at 270-688-9000 for transportation assistance.
White Flag events locally are coordinated by Daviess County Emergency Management and the Homeless Coalition of Ohio Valley, with the support of Daviess County Fiscal Court, the City of Owensboro, and participating shelters within Daviess County.
