Daviess County bowling splits with Apollo

Since finishing fourth in the Early Season Region 1 Tournament, Daviess County’s boys bowling team has found their stride. Last night they beat Apollo 7-0, winning by over 500 pins. Milan Ferguson led the way with games of 224 and 210, while Kason Smith (219), Jaxson Unsel (193, 212), Alec Jones (207), Lucas Tincher (203, 212), and Brandon Hall (194, 257) all impressed. In the two baker games, the Panthers rolled 234 and 264.

The coed team dropped a heartbreaker, falling to Apollo 4-3 on a total pinfall tiebreaker. Eoghan Nichols rolled a new personal high of 165, while Justin Case (198), Angel Martinez Ortiz (177, 179), Blake Vanover (154), and Gabe Evans (179) all held their own.
