Apollo Davies County, and McLean County all won, while Owensboro Catholic fell on the road.
Apollo 81, Elizabethtown 52
Carlos Cruz hit two threes to go along with his team-high 15 points as the Eagles took down Elizabethtown 81-52. Kayden Green scored all 14 of his points in the third quarter, and Tate Powers and Sam Butterworth both had 11 points.
Daviess County 92, Somerset Christian School 52
Jonathan Moss (27 points, 10 assists), Michael Acton (21 points, 10 rebounds), and DeAaron Watkins (19 points, 11 rebounds) all recorded double-doubles as the Panthers took down Somerset Christian School 92-52. Lemontae Ratcliff finished with nine points, four assists, and two rebounds, and Davyn Randolph had five points and eight rebounds.
McLean County 69, Butler County 49
Layden Bozarth scored 24 points as the Cougars took down Butler County 69-49. Camden Baird added 15 points and Jaelin Groves finished with 13 points,
“We played well after a sluggish start,” McLean County Head Coach Darren Lynam said. “Our press was able to force several turnovers.”
South Warren 72, Owensboro Catholic 60
Dre’Mail Carothers scored 16 points, and Braylon Coots hit two threes to go along with his 13 points in the Aces 72-60 loss to South Warren. Solly Smith scored eight of his 12 points in the fourth quarter, and Jake Murphy added seven points.
