Kenneth Earl Boyd, 74, of Horse Branch, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, with his family by his side at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born Friday, December 14, 1951, in Whiting, Indiana to the late Ether and Bethel Mae Basham Boyd. Kenny was a retired welder and enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his side-by-side as well as spending time with his family.
Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Synder and Joyce Embry.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Marilyn Armstrong of Horse Branch; children, Jennifer (Bobby) Kelley of Morgantown, Tabatha (Jody) Grider of Centertown, Cassandra Leinenbach (Jimmy Story) of Cannelton, Indiana, Joey (Tara) Armstrong of Cromwell, Todd Armstrong of Indiana and Tracey Armstrong of Indiana; grandchildren, Kelsie (Ryan) Calvlage, Jessika (Brandon) Clark, Noah Bullock, Jailyn Bullock, Kenneth (Katie) Hamilton, Bryan Hamilton, Madalyn Mae Leinenbach, Riley Joe Leinenbach, Shaila (David) Rheeling, Garrett (Brittney) Leach, Brennon (Brittney) Leach, Tristen (Evie) Armstrong, Zane Collins, and Tyler Ennis; several great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2025, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Old Salem Cemetery in Horse Branch. Friends may visit from 4-8 PM Friday and 9 AM until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
