Roger Wayne Morris, 63, of Owensboro passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky – Heartford House. The Daviess County native was born on October 27, 1962, and was the son of the late John and Catherine Morris.
Roger was a United States Army National Guard veteran who served proudly for eight years. He dedicated many years of hard work to Field’s Packing Company before retiring. Above all, Roger loved his family dearly and was deeply devoted to his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in passing by his sister, Tammy Henson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Sarah Davis of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Amber (Stephen) Crowe of Owensboro; beloved grandchildren, Olivia Davis, Sophia Davis, and Adriel Crowe, who brought him immense joy; brothers, John (Cathy) Morris and Scott (Peggy) Morris; sister, Kathy (Roy) Blankenship; along with many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Woodlawn Global Methodist Church, 1120 Woodlawn Ave, Owensboro, KY 42301, with visitation beginning at 3 p.m. at the church.
