Apollo beat Breckinridge County, while Hancock County dropped a close game to Russellville.
Apollo 74, Breckinridge County 60
Kayden Green scored 10 of his 17 points in the first half as the Eagles beat Breckinridge County 74-60. Tate Powers scored 14 points, Eli Williams had 13 points, and Braxton Strehl finished with 12 points.
“This was a good win on the road,” Apollo Head Coach Ryne Tinsley said. “Landon getting into foul trouble early, and others stepping up displays how deep this team is.”
Russellville 69, Hancock County 64
Taylor Payne scored 17 points on 7/8 shooting and grabbed three rebounds as the Hornets fell to Russellville 69-64. Keegan Wilson added 15 points, eight assists, and eight rebounds, and Seth Hunt recorded 15 points and seven rebounds.
