Taking a 19-8 lead into the second quarter, the Lady Raiders never looked back, closing out Madisonville-North Hopkins at home 54-42.
Ella Morris caught fire behind the arc, hitting four threes to go with her game-high 15 points, while Preslee Meserve and Sophie Hatfield both scored 10 points. Olivia Starks added nine points, Ry’Lynne Meserve recorded eight points, and Sadie Morris finished with two points.
“We played much better on the defensive end tonight,” Trinity (Whitesville) Head Coach Emily Hernandez said. “We worked well together offensively and made the extra pass for the better shots tonight. The effort was there for 32 minutes, and we were pleased with that.”
