On Aug. 28, 2019 at approximately 9:37 pm the Owensboro Police Department responded to a Robbery of an individual in the 1200 block of East Byers Avenue. Upon arrival the victim advised he had been robbed at gunpoint by a juvenile he knew and property including a cell phone and $20 had been taken.
Detectives responded and a 17-year-old juvenile has been charged with first degree robbery as well as two counts of possession of a handgun by a minor (first offense.)
