Grammy Award-winning artists Wynonna Judd and Melissa Etheridge will bring their co-headlining Raised On Radio Tour to Beaver Dam Amphitheater on Aug. 8.
The show, part of the First United Bank & Trust Concert Series, will feature two of the most influential voices in American music performing together for a night of rock and country hits.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on March 13. Presales begin at 10 a.m. on March 10, with additional presales running through Thursday evening.
Tickets will be available at BeaverDamAmp.com, through the ETIX network, or by phone at 800-514-3849.
Heath Eric, president and CEO of The Eric Group, which manages the venue, said the pairing brings two legendary performers together on one stage.
“We are incredibly proud to present one of the most exciting shows we have ever brought to Beaver Dam Amphitheater,” Eric said. “Wynonna Judd and Melissa Etheridge are two of the most iconic and influential women in the history of music. Bringing these powerhouse artists together on one stage will create an unforgettable night for fans.”
The Raised On Radio Tour celebrates the music and radio influences that helped shape both artists’ careers.
“I’ve spent my entire adult life onstage, but before any of that, I was just a girl sitting close to a radio speaker, hanging on every word,” Judd said. “Raised On Radio isn’t just a tour name — it’s my roots and wings.”
Etheridge said radio exposed her to a wide variety of musical styles growing up in Kansas.
“I was literally raised on the radio,” Etheridge said. “Growing up in Leavenworth, I listened to stations that played everything from rock and soul to R&B and country. It helped shape me into the versatile writer and musician I am today.”
Etheridge broke onto the rock scene with hits such as “Bring Me Some Water,” “Come to My Window,” and “I’m the Only One.” Judd, a five-time Grammy winner and member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, rose to fame as part of The Judds before launching a successful solo career with songs including “No One Else on Earth,” “Tell Me Why,” and “I Saw the Light.”
The tour will also support two charities. For every ticket sold, Judd and Etheridge will each donate $1 to benefit The Etheridge Foundation, which supports research into treatments for opioid use disorder, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The Raised On Radio Tour includes stops across the United States before arriving in Beaver Dam on Aug. 8.
