Alvin Cecil Quesinberry, 65, of Owensboro, passed away on March 5, 2026, under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky – Heartford House. He was born on January 12, 1961, in Owensboro to the late Paul and Maggielein Quesinberry.
Alvin proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as a self-employed electrician. He also worked with the City of Owensboro Sanitation Department, as well as in construction with Gaddis Services and Excavating and Hazex Construction Company. In his off time, Alvin took great pride in volunteering for his son’s color guard travelling competitions, supporting his passions any way he could.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Quesinberry, and sister, Donna Quesinberry.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Paula Jolly and her husband, Kerry; nieces, Megan (Karl) Fergason and Emily (Jeremy) Bardin; as well uncles, cousins, and other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western KY, 3419 Wathen’s Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301, in Alvin’s name.
