Interstate 165 southbound at U.S. 60 in Owensboro is blocked due to a crash, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Officials said the closure is expected to last approximately three to four hours.
Motorists are advised to detour at Exit 16 to U.S. 231 southbound toward Hartford and then return to the interstate using KY 69.
The alert was issued Wednesday morning by Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2. Drivers are encouraged to use caution and expect delays in the area.
