Owensboro Catholic swept their double-header, while Daviess County tied with Liberty Creek and beat Riverdale 7-5. In other action, Apollo fell to Meade County.

Meade County 5, Apollo 4

Leading 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh, Apollo was unable to close it out, losing to Mede County 5-4. Keelan Wettstain went 2-3 with two RBIs, while Arianna Ramirez and Annsley Hall both drove in runs. Mollie Julian threw a complete game, allowing three earned runs over 6 2/3 innings, striking out nine.

Daviess County goes 1-0-1 in double-header

Traveling to Liberty Creek, Tennessee, the Lady Panthers tied with Liberty Creek 6-6 and beat Riverdale 7-5. Against Liberty Creek, Annie Newman and Callie Smith led the way at the plate, as they both drove in a pair of runs. In their game against Riverdale, the Lady Panthers entered the bottom of the seventh trailing 5-2, but Smith hit a two-run walk-off single. She finished 1-4 with two RBIs, while Molly Hancock went 2-4 with two RBIs.

Owensboro Catholic sweeps double-header

Competing in a round robin, the Lady Aces finished the day undefeated, beating Franklin Simpson 10-0 and Cumberland County 4-1. Against Franklin Simpson, Taylor Clark, Carley Brey, and Addilyn Simmons combined for six hits and seven RBIs, while Addalynn Mayfield threw a complete game shutout. Against Cumberland County, Anna Beth Hamilton went 2-3 with a homer and four RBIs, while Ava Mudd allowed one run over seven innings.
